Get Up, Stand Up!
Cedella Marley and No Bully proudly present our latest PSA
“Standing up for yourself, standing up for others, and standing up for what is right are three very important values my parents instilled in my siblings and me when we were growing up in Jamaica. And as a mom of three sons, I felt it was important to pass this message of strength, compassion and equality on to them.” – Cedella
This October 2019, we are grateful to partner with Cedella Marley to help drive awareness and donations for Bullying Prevention month. Cedella’s latest children’s book adapts her father’s timeless lyrics to impart a heartfelt message of empathy and compassion, and inspire children and adults to Get Up, Stand Up for themselves and others. We couldn’t agree more with the important lessons her parents Bob and Rita Marley ingrained in Cedella and her siblings!
In addition to donating a dollar from each book sale, Cedella has also dedicated a portion of proceeds from sales of the accompanying tee shirts pictured below (available in kids and adult sizes) to support our vision for a kinder world. We hope the meaningful design reminds you, and those around you, to respect yourselves and to Get Up, Stand Up for others in need.
